Annual Meeting

The 2025 SACSCOC Annual Meeting, held in Nashville, brought together colleagues around the theme, Finding Harmony: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities, for focused learning, meaningful exchange, and renewed momentum. The meeting was further energized by the President Pruitt’s First 100 Day Plan, which framed conversations around clarity, transparency, and a forward-looking vision for the work ahead. 

Our hope is that those who participated return to their institutions with greater confidence, practical insight, and a strengthened sense of purpose as they continue their important work. Thank you to our presenters, sponsors, partners, and attendees whose contributions made the Annual Meeting both impactful and memorable. We look forward to building on this momentum at a future meeting.

Planning will soon be underway for our 2026 Annual Meeting, and we’re using your feedback to make the experience even better, including a few surprises we think you’ll appreciate.

Call for Proposals

Interested in sharing your expertise, innovative practices, or lessons learned with colleagues from across the SACSCOC region? The Call for Proposals for the 2026 SACSCOC Annual Meeting is anticipated to open in mid-April 2026.

We encourage faculty, staff, administrators, and higher education partners to consider submitting session proposals that support institutional effectiveness, accreditation practices, and meaningful improvement in higher education. Additional details – including conference theme, proposal guidelines, session formats, and submission deadlines – will be shared when the Call for Proposals opens.

Get Involved: Volunteer at Upcoming SACSCOC Events! 

Want a behind-the-scenes look at how a major higher education conference comes together? Volunteering at SACSCOC events is a fun, enlightening way to connect with colleagues, support the participant experience, and learn how the magic happens.

Volunteer roles may include:

• Assisting with registration and attendee questions
• Supporting presenters and session rooms
• Serving as greeters or wayfinders
• Helping event staff keep things running smoothly
