Reaffirmation Off-Site Committee Resources - Committee Information and Forms
The Off-Site Committee conducts an analysis of the Certifications of Compliance and support documentation provided by a multiple number of institutions (usually three). Once the members of the Off-Site Committee have completed their initial review of each institution, the Committee meets during a two day period (usually in Atlanta) to review each of the documents submitted by each institutions. At the conclusion of its review of each institution the Committee produces a separate written analysis of its findings. The report of the Off-Site Committee does not include formal recommendations regarding compliance with any given standard.
Each institution receives an individual copy of the Committee’s report for that institution and determines whether to provide a Focus Report responding to any issues cited by the Off-Site Committee. The report of the Off-Site committee is also advisory to the On-Site Committee by focusing on issues requiring further evaluation by the On-Site Committee. The Off-Site Committee does not accredit the institution.
