Special Committee Resources - Committee Information and Forms
Special Committees are authorized by the President of the Commission on Colleges or the Compliance and Reports Committee to conduct site reviews to institutions whose continuing membership with the Commission on Colleges is perceived to be in jeopardy. A Special Committee conducts a focused review of an institution addressing accreditation issues identified by the Commission. The Special Committee does not accredit the institution but it does provide a written analysis of its judgment to the Compliance and Reports Committee. Its report is also forwarded to the institution for its review and consideration.
